Betty is an architectural and placemaking specialist working at the intersection of policy, advocacy and design to shape inclusive urban environments. She is a Senior Design Officer in the Greater London Authority’s Design Unit, where she leads on strategic design review, research and quality management tools to advance Good Growth across the capital. Betty is also a founding member of PATCH, a multidisciplinary collective that transforms writing into spatial interventions and ephemeral events. Named a RIBA Journal Rising Star in 2022, she chairs the New London Architecture NextGen Panel and sits on the New London Architecture Sounding Board.
